Michael Jackson, May He “Rest” in Hell
My first and sustaining reaction to Michael Jackson’ apparently drug-induced death is good riddance. Yes, good riddance. The world is better off without him as this reduces the world by one person who has a history of homosexual pedophilia.
Jackson will forever be remembered for his abuse of little boys. While his money paid off victims and secured legal freedom to avoid accountability, he cannot, even in death, avoid the terrible stain of his actions.
Good riddance.

The Religion of Global Warming…
…and a religion it is. Al Gore is its leader and James Hansen is its prophet of false data.
Now, I don’t doubt that mankind is having some very negative impacts on the Earth–pollution in the air, on the land, and in the seas, trash everywhere, plus the concrete and pavement that cover most cities–but to say that we are causing global warming seems a bit far-fetched.
- Global warming data is proving to be faulty at best, incomplete, and maybe intentionally skewed to achieve desired results.
- More and more weather reports show lowering temperatures since around 1998. Just this week Arizona experienced the longest number of sub-100 degree days since 1913. It even snowed in many parts of the US in June this year, in some areas for the first time on record!
- Finally, the current solar cycle seems to be have more impact on temperatures and weather.
I’m not going to run through a list of the pros and cons about global warming, though I think much of it is a con (sarcasticly speaking). The solutions are half-baked and definitely detrimental to the US. The blame America-first arguments are laughable. As someone who has traveled to 47 countries around the world, I can say with confidence that the US is one of the cleanest places around. If we must address global warming, lets start with filthy places China, India, and Mexico.
Setting aside the religion of global warming, I do think as a separate topic, we need to clean up our affairs. The litter that so many people discard everywhere without apparent thought or concern should stop. There is probably not a single place in the country that is not defiled with mankind’s litter.

Mark Sanford - Bastard
It’s the only fitting word for a man who abandons his wife and four sons on Father’s Day weekend to indulge his “overdrive” on an Argentinian fling.
Mark Sanford: Bastard.
So writes Michelle Malkin. A commenter on her blog concurringly notes:
Cheating is wrong, period. But it takes an extra special guy to do it on Father’s Day weekend.
Short of his resignation from public life, his wife divorcing him and taking every penney he has or will ever have, what else needs to be said or done?

Boycott CBS and Johnson & Johnson
As others write, such as Michael Patrick Leahy in Why the Fire David Letterman Movement is Targeting Johnson and Johnson Today, Monday June 22, advertisers (and the CBS network) should be boycotted so long as Letterman show airs without accountability for its offensive and woman-hating behavior.
As I wrote Johnson and Johnson today:
I find Johnson & Johnson’s continued advertising on Letterman and CBS inappropriate considering Letterman’s offensive behavior toward the Palin family in both jokes and Top 10. That CBS continues to air his show without interruption says they agree with and support his offensive views. That Johnson & Johnson continues to advertise on both says that, contrary to its stated family friendly responsibility, it is instead interested in sponsoring, facilitating, and supporting this offensive behavior.
Until Johnson & Johnson stops advertising on Letterman and CBS, my family and I will stop buying the company’s products and will take every opportunity to encourage others to do so as well.
Matthew
It is curiously “convenient” that Johnson & Johnson’s Web sute Contact Us page now says:
JNJ.com is experiencing technical difficulties. Please try the site again later. We apologize for any inconvenience that you may experience as a result of this service disruption.

A softer note for Friday night…
This three week old kitten is one of seven now residing in my office. Its mother was rescued by us just before giving birth.
